Vote FOR agenda item 2 (Members resolution concerning proceeding with conversion).
We recommend that you vote FOR Mr Brendan Burgess as director of Irish Nationwide. Brendan is committed to defending members’ interests and will bring fresh thinking to the board of the Society. Brendan stated “If members vote for me, I will ensure that the interests of members are prioritised during the conversion. In particular, I will ensure that at the Chief Executive Michael Fingleton will receive no further payoff on demutualisation other than the windfall he will get as an ordinary member of the Society. He has passed retirement age and has been very well rewarded over the years.”
